Hi, my name is Luke Hunter. I’m the owner of Hunter’s Insulation. We’re a family-owned business based in Granada Hills, California. Our mission is to make our customers’ homes more comfortable, save them money, and increase energy efficiency. We specialize in retrofit work, which means working in homes and structures that have already been built. We also provide our services for new construction and remodeling. Before getting my contractor’s license and forming Hunter’s Insulation, I worked as a journeyman installer for a weatherization contractor and personally installed insulation in well over a thousand homes. If you look up my license information on the Contractors State License Board, you’ll see that I am the qualifying individual on the license. Since I personally come out for all estimates, this means that the person coming to your home making assessments, writing the proposals and running the jobs has journey-level experience in the insulation trade and is qualified to do so. Since I am involved with doing the actual work itself, our quality control is excellent. Also, separate from my experience with insulation, I worked for almost 15 years with my father who is a successful and reputable roofing contractor. During my time with him, I worked just about every position in the company: jobsite helper, installer, bookkeeper, salesperson, and from time to time as project manager. I learned many things from this experience about how to operate with integrity, give excellent customer service, and how to successfully run a business long-term. I believe my experience makes me uniquely qualified to do excellent quality work at affordable, competitive prices, and give you, the customer, outstanding service.
